You have to remove the top of center console to access the radio. Open the center console box, there is a small tab at the front. Pull up on the tab, you will see 2 screws. Remove them. Look to see where the center console top fits under the radio. Check for more bolts...Pull up on the console, and pull it back. After the console top is out, you will see another fascia tab. Remove it. If my memory serves me correctly, the A/C control and the radio both come out at the same time. Remove the 2 side vents and then you will see the bolts that holds the radio assembly. Note that the vents are in there TIGHT, be careful when you pry them out, they may break.

Why did my rear speakers in my 2000 Toyota Avalon stop working

If you have already checked all radio/audio fuses and they are fine, there could be a number of variables to consider. If you have the factory JBL audio system, by way of rear speakers, are you referring to the subwoofer in the middle in back of the rear seats. or are you saying the rear speakers on the door panels. If the subwoofer isn't working, you could have fried the subwoofer amp (located in the trunk next to the subwoofer, or check to make sure both of those connections(+ & - )wires are connected to the subwoofer. If both of the rear door panel speakers aren't working, then there is a disconnect/power problem from the power source to the speakers. You can get a low voltage tester to see if those rear speakers are drawing any juice. Just take one of the speakers ans test the wires. With the JBL system, all of the front, rear, and subwoofer run through the amp I believe, due to the ohm output. There is a diagram I've attached via link 2000 Toyota Avalon pin my factory stereo unit No other harnesses On a side note, if you ever hear a lot of muffle in any speakers, usually its the foam around the speakers that has deteriorated. They have foam replacement kits but for very little money, you can detach the speakers and have a company refurbish the foam. the company, SimplySpeakers does a great job Toyota JBL Speaker Foam Edge Repair Replacement Kit 86160 AC180 Avalon...

Toyota Avalon 2004 radio do not work. It turns on but no sound. Some people say may be amp problem because speakers works.

The amp should have it's own inline fuse but if there is no sound it could also mean the radio has died or antenna is disconnected. Any stereo installation shop can find the problem without too much cost.

My Radio say SEC? I cant start radio

The sec displayed is security code in case radio is stolen it cant be used without entering the code. Owner may have disconnected battery and didnt put a memory saver in lighter outlet so it locked. If you go to dealer they can retrive the code for you then you enter code and radio should work.unless they changed the factory code. If not and code from dealer works keep in car or safe place so you have it. Usually no charge to do retrival at dealer takes 2 minutes. Hope this helps

How to connect aftermarket radio into 2002 toyota camry JBL radio (the standart wiring doesn't work). Thanks

Your aftermarket radio should have color-coded wires which identifies power, ground, speakers, etc. most depaetment stores carry a radio harness adapter kit. This will connect to your radio's exact color coded wires, and will plug right in to your factory's wiring plug. And don't forget electrical tape.

Hi, Your belt is put on incorrectly that is why the power steering doesn't work. Try to redo it.
We have looked for a diagram and no where to be seen. My advice is go get a manual. (Haynes)
Good luck.

Some dealers put the radio's antitheft code in the owners manual. If it's not there call your local dealer and they can reset the code for a fee.
