I have a 2005 Hyundai Elantra GLS, in 6 months that I have had the car the passenger light has blown out at least 3 times. I read on this site something about the alternator "charging too good", so in my experience the alternator over charges when the battery is not holding the charge or the voltage regulator has gone bad. So I went for the first one, I went to a couple of autoparts shops to get my battery tested (check with more than one to make sure), and the found the battery has gone bad, which I belived since sometimes after leaving the car parked for a day or two will struggle when starting. So I changed the battery and got new bulbs, it's been a month and the light have not blown out yet.

I took mine in for this same problem. They told me the alternator was charging "too good" and they replaced it. Sounded fishy to me, but the alternator was under warranty at the time so it was a free fix. In any case after that my headlights never blew out again.

Passenger side low beam doesn't work. Notice bulb is out. Replaced bulb but still doesn't work. High beam works fine. No problem with driver side. Is there a fuse for the left side?

No you must have a wiring problem if the bulb is good. You can test the bulb out of the car. Do not touch any halogen type bulb with your bare skin.

Replace a headlight bulb in my headlight

The car can have Bi-Xenons or halogens lamps, the bulb would be different. The user manual shows which bulb type to use.
Changing the halogen bulb would be quite easy. On the contrary changing Xenon HID's involves some knowhow and should be done by a dealer, they also need to be replaced in pairs.

The left headlight on my 2002 honda accord doesnt work

look for blowed 10 amp fuse in the interior fuse box.dont put any fuse in any empty fuse slots because you dont what controls that circuit.could cause electrical fire.if fuse okay could have bad bulb.if headlight bulb is blowed wear clean pair of gloves because headlight bulbs are halogen if you touch bulb with fingers, oils from you fingers will cause halogen bulbs overheat and blow out.halogen bulbs is not cheap.

NEED to change daytime running lights

YOU NEED TO RAISE THE HOOD,YOU HAVE TO REMOVE HEADLIGHT HOUSING BY TWISTING THE HEADLIGHT HOUSING MOUNTING RODS OUT OF THEIR CLIPS AND PULL UP THEM STRAIGHT UP TO DISENGAGE THE HOUSING FROM VECHICLE. WITH HEADLIGHT HOUSING OUT VECHICLE REMOVE LIGHT BULBS, YOU NEED TO WEAR CLEAR PAIR OF LATEX GLOVES WHEN HANDLING NEW HEADLIGHT BULBS BECAUSE HEADLIGHT BULBS ARE HALOGEN BULBS OILS FROM FINGERS OR HANDS CAN CAUSE HALOGEN BULBS OVERHEAT AND BLOW OUT.HALOGEN BULBS VERY EXPENSIVE THEY COST FROM $10.00 UP TO $20.00 OR MORE SO WHERE CLEAN GLOVES WHEN HANDLING BULBS.

IM ALWAYS BLOWING HEADLIGHTS EVERY YEAR ABOUT TWO TIMES IM CHANGING THE BULBS

This is quite often due to battery amps being low or jump starting, amp, watts and volts are all interelated so 55 watts means 13volts/55wats = 4.2amps battery low 11v/55watts=5amps pop!

Brake lamps and reverse light dont work but everything else does

You might remove the tail light bulds and inspect the lead contacts on the bottom of the bulb. While the bulbs are out install a new fuse and if it doesn't blow this time install one bulb at a time to see which side is blowing the fuse. If it blows right away the prob could be in the headlight switch or in the wiring somewhere. If its been sitting 3 months its possible rats have chewed on the wiring.
