My car will start some times, and will run at times but will die at random. Also the seviece engine light has come on and stayed on, the codes said errors on the MAP, crank positioning, MAF sensors. we have replaced crank and MAP but not MAF too expensive untill i know it will fix it. also have replaced fuel pump and spark plugs and wires?
It seems like a ground problem. First check all fuses to see that they have a good contact. Second, verify the battery terminals for good contact. Third verify the charging condition in the alternator battery system., remember shoul be around 14volts with car running.

There are numerous reasons for a vehicle to stall at random. Is the check engine light on? If so, scanning for codes would be a good place to start. Having a fuel pump pressure test performed will let you know if there is actually a fuel pump/power supply issue causing the stalling
all the sudden the check engine light came on and it started to idle funny and dying at stops. I had a diagnostic done on it and changed out the idle air control valve but it doent seem any different. and the check engine light is still throwing the same code. we adjusted the idle up so i could drive it with out it dying but it is still acting funny.
