You may have a problem with the ecm(computer)that is causing your problem.you also may have a defective alternator even if it was new one.

you need to have the system put on a scan tool and have the code pulled to find out where you need to start to diagnois the problem.without the code you will have a hard time to fix the problem and probably spend money you don`t have to.

2006 equinox abs and tc lights coming on

Your abs light is more than likely caused by the hub assembly/wheel bearing sensor on the front wheels. I would take to autozone to see if they can do abs check.

2006 Equinox, T/C light and ABS light on What

The TC and ABS light comes on when on of the 4 wheel motion sensors located behind the drums in the back and behind the rotors in the front are malfunctioning. A diagnostic should tell you which one it is because you have 4 in total. They cost approximately $80 each CAN funds.

ABS and Traction Control Light On

Because the brakes were changed, either one of the sensors were broken when removing brakes or it has set a code. Go to your local autoparts store and have them reset the code. See if it comes back on. If it does you will need to look at the ABS sensors on each wheel and replace if damaged

Abs brakes making noise.

Well the abs light reads wheel speed sensors located behind the rotors you will see a little wheel with notchs in it and when reads as if the wheel is locked up it will activate the abs i would inspect those sensors for damage possible one got bent or has junk on it interfearing with the signal and take it back to the place that did the brake job hope this helps

Transmission fluid in brake system

Your braking system will need to be flushed (all of the brake fluid completely removed) and refilled. If left in the braking system, the wrong fluid could end up ruining the brake calipers, brake master cylinder, rubber brake hoses, and other brake components – leading to brake failure.
