Question about 2007 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
When I make a left turn (from standing still to a slow turn) , my steering is sometimes hendered...almost as if my steering is locked...HELP
It seems your have a power steering problem. it could be a simple fix by checking the power steering resevoir for proper fluid level. it also be that the steering pump is failing. the most troublesome is that the rack and pinion unit is the fault. first thing to check is the fluid resevoir if it's low fill to proper level and start the vehicle. turn the steering wheel all the way left and hold till you hear a light squeal, then turn to the right and hold till you hear the squeal. do this several times. this is to make sure there is no air in the system. you should be able to turn the wheel and it should be smooth with no hesitation. if this doesn't solve the problem, then you must take it to a shop to have the pump replaced if it is the fault or the rack and pinion............please rate the solution...thanks
