Some scanners do not have the program to scan the SRS or the ABS units installed on motor vehicles... can I make the suggestion that you take it to someone with full scan program?.... what you're dealing with is a very important safety system....
The airbag is an animal of its own... your average diagnotic machine will not be able to pull those codes. it is more that likely the clockspring. but, you will have to take it to someone that repairs airbag systems and such. body shops deal with that type of thing all of the time ( accidents usually cause an airbag deployment) and might be one of your better choices.
