NEED TO REPLACE WATER PUMP

MY 92 HONDA ACCORD LX

I NEED HELP IN REPLACING THE WATER PUMP. HOW CAN I GET THAT OR OBTAIN A OWNERS MANUAL?

ARE THERE ANY FREE OWNERS MANUALS AROUND? I BOUGHT THIS CAR USED AND THE MANUAL WAS NOT THERE? IM HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE CAR OVERHEATING. I REPLACED THE UPPER HOSE AND THE THERMOSTAT. THE AUTO STORE SAID IT PROBABLY IS THE WATER PUMP. I JUST NEED TO FIND OUT HOW TO REPLACE THE WATER PUMP; WHERE CAN I FIND THIS OUT AND IS IT VERY DIFFICULT?

IF ANYONE CAN HELP PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DO SO; IM A SINGLE PARENT ON A FIXED INCOME. THANK YOU.

I need to get the water pump off the engine, but I can't - there's some plastic thingy coverung the lower half of it, and it appears to be covering the timing belt... Do I have to take the whole timing belt cover off just to take the water pump out?

Why do they have to make cars in such an Idiotic and unserviceable way?

You need a service manual not the owners if you wish to have instructions to repair the car, ebay has these, I know of no site where you can download a manual or access one except if you pay a fee, one is www.ALLDATA.com

If you go to your local library most do carry the manuals and you can copy the info you need.
difficult.. yes. extremely difficult...no
if you decide to do it make sure you use 1/2 drive breaker bar on crank pulley if your lower timing cover cannot be moved far enough to access the water pump mounting bolts. also make sure you don't turn the timing gear when removing the belt or replacing it.
hope this will help you.

92' honda accord lx when hot does not want to start

You need to repair or replace your car's main power relay. It is a known fault on those early 90's Accords. When it gets hot, it fails and won't supply power to the fuel pump or distributor. Have it replaced.

92 honda accord lx it will start when it is cool outside but when it is hot it will not start. have already replaced distributor, coil, main engine relay switch. Can u tell me what else it could be ?...

I had the same issue happening with my 92 accord lx. I replaced the main relay and the issue was resolved... Was it the relay under the dash and hidden by the cruise control box you replaced? It is located under the drivers side dash, tucked WAY up there behind the cruise control box. This relay controls both the spark delivery AND the fuel pump.

If this IS what you replaced, it is more than likely still an electrical issue since the syptom only occurs when it is hot. This means an electrical connection is expanding and not connecting when it is hot. If the relay was replaced, it is possible the ECU may be having issues.

Motor using water and wanting to over heat?

It sounds like the pump, if it is leaking from the water pump, you should stop driving it right away as the pump is driven off the cam timing belt and if that comes off, major damage to the engine will occur. There is also a balance shaft belt under the timing cover, it should always be changed with the timing belt when the water pump is replaced.

Dont replace just one O ring on the injectors. You need to replace all when you replace them. It sounds like you still have O ring leaks.
