Question about 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
My 1999 Chevy 2500 has a couple of issues. One, every time I turn I hear what sounds like a bucket rolling around in the back of the truck. If this has something to do w/ the rear differential, we have replaced to oil.
Second, the truck has been wrecked before, a friend noticed the back passenger side tire is bobbing back and forth. They were new tires. We think the rear axel is bent or needs to be replaced. Anybody else had problems with these issues?
Maybe its a wheel bearing? and when you turn it puts extra weight on it and makes it loud. that would also cause your tire to wobble. jack up that side of the truck and see if the tire is loose. if the lugs are tight and you can move the tire then you need a wheel bearing. its very dangerous to drive with a bad bearing cause it could cause your tire to fall off.
