open the hood and look for this retainer at the back of the headlight and twist it while pressing in, it will turn and the tabs will unlock and that's how the light comes out BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN INSTALLING THIS BULB YOU CAN NOT TOUCH THE GLASS WITH YOUR HANDS THE OIL FROM YOUR SKIN WILL FRY ON THE GLASS AND BLOW THE NEW BULB USE A PAPER TOWEL OR RUBBER GLOVES IF YOU DO TOUCH THIS WIPE OFF THE GLASS WITH ALCOHOL AND LET IT DRY THE PUT IT INSIDE THE ASSEMBLY ALIGNING THE NOTCHES YOU SEE IN THE BULB AND THE ASSEMBLY THEN PUSH IN THE TWIST LOCK ALIGNING THOSE TABS YOU SEE TO LOCK IT IN PLACE AND YOUR DONE GOOD LUCK AND BUY THE 2 PACK OF BULBS FOR $20.00 YOU MIGHT NEEDIT FOR THE OTHER SIDE THEY USUALLY BLOW OUT ONE AFTER ANOTHER STEPHEN
vacuum leak or blocked filter is more likely the problem, idle is controlled by the vacuum. if its losing vacuum it will not hold the valve open to let air flow though. look for cracked or split vacuum lines. can even be a damaged diaphragm, not holding.
Open the door and spray a liberal amount of WD-40 on the lock mechanism and open and close the door several times repeating this. That should clear up the problem.
If you mean shattered and missing then the answer is if you have insurance. Stuff like that is covered undervandalism or comprehensive insurance. If you are paying for it yourself you can call and get estimates and some places come to your residence to replace glass. You can also ask for used glass to keep costs down. If you mean broken like they don't go up and down a glass shop may be better than some garages because the glass shop does it everyday.
try checking the earths on the body of the car to the engine and to the battery and clean them fords are notorious for bad earths try this could aliminate some if not all of your problem
