Question about 1993 Eagle Talon

1 Answer

93 eagle talon 1.8 won't start

Sometimes when you shut it off it won't restart. it will crank fine but no start.usually if you hit the key enough times it will start. sometimes not until later. the fuel system seems to be fine. the problem is when it won't start and you start to test the coil and dist it will go into the start mode again so everything tests good. any ideas??

93 talon tsi getting fuel and spark car cranks but wont start

I would try making sure spark plug wires are put on in the correct firing order. This is a common mistake in tune ups. Most intake manifolds have the firinging order cast in. Plug gaps correct? I cant come too far away.

My 93 Eagle Talon takes a long time to start when cold.

try to check the pressure of the injetors.. there may not be enough pressure or it does too much that floats the cylender and not letting spark to ignite..

Starting the car

More than likely you have a small crack in your crank sensor. this will cause a car to sometimes start and then the next time it wont. the sensors arent that expencive and this will eliminate one possibility.
