This is all electrical. Sounds like a fairly big job. Blinkers and ABS usually run from same fuse and therefore same wiring. Not sure of the 4x4 light. But Id say if you get a wiring diagram and folloe from the 3 items back there would be a common wore and id say in your case this wire is loose, or semi broken. However I think it would be less stress if you simply go to an auto electrician, Good luck, hope this helps.

Eddie Bauer. Why did 4x4 light start flashing and turn signal will not work anymore?

Start by checking the fuses in vehicle and then fuses and relays under hood. Hope that helps.

My blinkers will just stop working. I just had a new multi-function switch replaced and it is still doing it. I can manually turn the blinker off and on and the blinker light works.

Looks like the blinker relay needs to be replace! It blinks once and stop, means the relay bi metal is burned and have to be replace.
hope that helps you out!

After my 2001 Eddie Bauer Expedition warms up...

well i have heard that the front hubs are known to go bad in the 4x4 pickups, which should be the same parts as an Expedition, there may be metal dust on the ABS sensor or the flywheel it reads off from, thats if the hub and or bearings are bad.Jack it up with a jack under the lower control arm just behind the wheel and grab the wheel at the top and bottom and see if there is any movement, that should help explain if the hub is bad if there is alot of movement

Do you happen to have more than one Ford Key on your key ring. The theft system on this is a transponder system and it could get the wrong signal from a key to a different vehicle.

97 f-250 diesel blinkers and ABS light

If your low beams work it's not the multi-function switch located on your steering column (two bolts and a plug). If you unplug the abs sensor on the rear differential and the ABS stays on and your blinkers work and you don't blow fuses could be the sensor. However, if this is not it you may have a ground problem (micro-friction). Usually these two systems are not connected and these may be completely different issues.
Possible Scenario: aftermarket stereo installed incorrectly.
Scenario Two: both of these sytems have bare wires and touch every so often causing your grounding problem. (There is a fuse-vibration testing technique that can be used to find the bare-wire(s))
Try to fix the blinker problem first you may find the ABS problem along the way (common wires of Blinker/ABS bundled together.
Trace and inspect.

Hope this helps--
