Hang on...

Yeah, ok, I've just realised that we're talking about two different things. When I posted my clarification request, I thought you were talking about your brake lights.

You mean the brake warning, yes?
Right, in which case, how do you know the brakes are fine? Has a qualified mechanic checked them out? If so, then you've got a dodgy connection there. If not, I'd say the brakes aren't fine and do need looked at.

My break light keeps coming on

You are low on brake fluid, the handbrake is engaged, or the switch on the handbrake needs to be looked at. If it is the ABS light, there is a problem with the ABS system. The brakes will still work fine, you'll just have regular brakes with no ABS.

Jetta break light is on and when driving it beeps??

It might be the parking brake warning - you may need to check the parking brake switch.

On my 2004 expedition one of the break lights is not working. the parking light work fine, but when I press the break the passenger side break light does not come on. I changed the bulb and that did not...

check the electrical contacts within the bulb fixture for oxidation or damage. Check also the wires and wire harness for damage or connection problems.

My break lights don't come on when I press the break pedal. The bulbs, fuse, emergency flashers and turn signals work fine. Other suggestions for what is wrong and how to fix? Thanks

you may have a bad brake pedal switch. When you press the brake pedal, the switch is not activating the lights. If everything else is working, it's most likely your brake pedal switch.

Break light will not work

It's blowing the fuse because there is a short somewhere in the circuit. Your inspection just hasn't found it yet. Look for bare spots on the wiring; places where the wire might be pressed against metal (especially sharp edges); damaged connectors; etc.

do not keep driving the car if you don't fix the break. the car will lock up and going to cost you more.
