The security light warns you that there is a safety problem and check your guages. Just check the tire pressure and add where it needs it. this should fix your problem. If it continues often then you probably have a slow leak and need tire repair

SOURCE: tire light flashing on 2009 suzuki sx4

open your owners manual. if you havent already and see if there is a reset proceedure if so and light is still on go to a firestone or dealer and see if you may have a faulty tpms (tire pressure monitor system). or you may just need there tool to reset light. and yes it might cost you somthing to do it.

SOURCE: low tire pressure light won't stay off after proper reset.

Some newer Toyota vehicles have a sensor in the spare tire. Tires loose air over time naturally. I would check out the spare.
When did this TPS light start coming on?
Have you had new tires put on, or had a flat repair done before the light?

SOURCE: 2002 jeep wrangler oil pressure gauge drops

When the gauge is at 0, is there any noise from the engine (tick, knock etc?) I would have someone put a mechanical gauge on there and read true pressure.Your driving pressure seems OK but if the low number is "real" something is wrong!

SOURCE: Reccommended tire pressure for 2003 jeep wrangler

Hi,
Thanks for using FixYa!

Please use 36psi for both front tires and 35psi for both rear tires. This is the optimum tire pressure for your jeep. Nice jeep by the way :)

Have a great day.

It won't hurt you vehicle at all to not have the sensors. You will not be able to make the TPMS light go off with no sensors.

09 wrangler x...tires now wrangler 255 75 17 sra.. if i put diff tires on that require more pressure how do i avoid TPMS..thanx

You either have the sensors removed from the tires entirely or may be able to have them calibrated at a local tire service center. However they may or may not be able, or be willing to do this. If the pressure difference is very minimal, I would consider leaving them at the same pressure so you dont have to get yourself in to this situation.
