The headlights don't go down when I turn the lights off

The lights work just fine but when I turn them off, the headlights should go down. They use too. Any ideas? mariacalkins@comcast.net

You probably blew the fuse on the passenger side inside the Frunk (Front Trunk). The headlights are operated by both relays and fuses. My fuse went out and prevented them from going down. They would go up still.

Wow thanks for al the help here. My T-Tops leaks on the divers side so i 1st drilled out the part that screws to your door jam looks like a U bold it is what locks the door shut. I mdrilled it out so much i could lift the door up 1/4 inch and in about 1/2 inches this way it farced the door to close more no more leaks but made hell of a bad sound when you close the door cuz the door was being raised so much. Then i went to look at the rubber around the T-Tops where the window closes against. Thats my leak place. So i looked an saw the rubber that is fastened to the T- Tops where your window pushes against is hollow. I punched a hole in 1 side the pushed a coat hangre thru- then bent the coat hanger around the 1/2 rope to make the rope go with the coat hanger when i pulled the coat hanger the rope came out other side with the coat hanger. This made the rubber seal fatter so it now leaks NO MORE. Also had the do same thing to the rubber on the side of the door where window closes to. What a *&^% all this was to make works an make seal good.

Yes there is a head light relay that operates the head light door motors.

2008 camry dashboard lights don't work when headlights are on

I know sounds simple but look to the left of the steering column for a rotary swith that goes up and down. This is the dimmer switch that can completely turn down or off what lights are on your display. Forgive me if this is not the case.

1994 Pontiac Grand am Tailights all work normaly except when the headlights are on and then they don't work at all?

Could be the headlight switch.
The switch has two sets of contacts for the parking lights, the park position and headlight position.
You may need to check the circuit at the switch to see if you are loosing power when the switch is moved from park to head.

Usually this is a bad headlight switch. It CAN be caused by extra lighting or a bad ground on a trailer light connection, though. don-ohio

There are several things involved here. The combination switch (headlight, dimmer, turn signal switch), The headlamp relay and the dimmer relay. It could be a bad switch or a stuck relay.

My ranning lights on rear end dosnt work. My brake lights work turn singnals work but my running lights don,t work and dash lights

GET A GOOD FUSE TESTER, TEST ALL THE FUSES. THERE IS A FUSE BOX UNDER THE DASH, CHECK EACH FUSE TURN ON HEADLIGHT SWITCH, THE FUSES CAN BE TESTED WHILE STILL IN THE FUSEBOX. POWER ON ONE SIDE, FUSE IS BAD. POWER ON BOTH SIDES, FUSE IS GOOD. POWER ON NEITHER SIDE, SPARE FUSE. IF THERE IS NO POWER AT THE TAIL LIGHT FUSE, THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH MAY BE BAD. IF THE FUSES ARE THE OLDER GLASS BARREL TYPE THEY MAY HAVE BECOME CORRODED OR RUSTY. IF SO YOU WILL NEED TO CLEAN THE FUSE BOX CONTACTS WITH FINE GRIT SANDPAPER & PUT IN A NEW FUSE.

1992 Dakota No headlights marker lights, tail lights, dash lights

Check these;
Brake lights, backup lights. cabin lights.
None of these are controlled by the light switch which seems to be the problem. You may need a voltmeter to track this down.

A long shot is to check the fusible links under the hood. They are essentially fuses by another name. They are sometimes located in gang boxes and even one of the '+' cables coming off the battery if it has two cables.
