Hello! If your vehicle is equipped with a 3.1L engine there is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) number; 00-06-94-005 written on January, 2000...That addresses a cold start issue...It reprograms the PCM which solves the problem...If your vehicle has a 3.1L (do not know what engine is in the car) and this has already been performed a sticker with the TSB number will be fixed to the inside drivers door...If it has not been performed it is the solution...If your car does not have a 3.1L...Send a comment...Guru..Saailer

Check the Mass Air Flow Sensor, you can get a can of cleaner specific for cleaning them for a couple bucks at the parts store. I'd just get 1 and clean the sensor see if that works. The MAF sensor is either in the throttle body itself (bolted on from the outside or in the air line between the filter and throttle body. That could be the whole problem right there. Good luck.

My 1999 Chevy Malibu is losing the coolant though the overflow hose by the resevior I've had my head gaskets replaced there is no overheating no water oil mix, but my radiator fans arent working I

Sounds like you need to disconnect the Radiators' electric fans and have them tested. You absolutely must have them working, or your car will overheat. Check to see if the Temperature guage is working.

You need to go to a good autoparts store and have them test the fans and charge and test your battery. You may need some sensors to activate the Radiator fans, but you could be running the battery down with shorted cooling fans.

There are also Relays which work with the Radiator fans. The overflow will stabilize once the water gets into where it belongs. Make sure your Thermostat is not clogged with the sealer.

1999 Malibu hard start in hot weather, after it starts runs great lots of power. starts when cold in cooler weather.V6 3.1 engine. have gas at rail. changed spark plugs and wires, IAT and ECT sensors also...

this is most likely a fuel vapor issue.

fuel boils in the fuel rail causing a hard start after a 'hot soak'.

the fix is to replace the fuel pressure regulator and the pcm. good- day !!

I have an Audi A4 2.5 V6 TDI. starts lovely when cold but when warm it doesn't start so easy. So far I've changed the cranking sensor, Glow plugs & ECT sensor . . . Any suggestions?

can be injectors leaking when parts is warm and expanded or temp sender not sending correct signals to ecu,so get injectors tested and replace temp sender.hope u succeed.

OK I HAVE A 97 GMC SUBURBAN WITH A 5.7L VORTEC. ITS GIVING ME A P0300 CODE I KNOW ITS MISSING ON CYL 5 AND 7 I HAVE CHANGED-INJECTORS-HEAD-LIFTERS-PUSHRODS-DIST-DIST CAP- ROTOR-PLUGS-WIRES-CRANK...

easy. you have a vacuum leak at the intake manifold. spray some lubricant along the gasket at 5 & 7. should stop missing if leak is on the outside. but if on inside it wouldn't make a difference. I vote to change the intake gasket. I'm having to do the same with a astro van.

Same

po113 is--IAT sensor curcuit high input, po403--egr curcuit flow malfunction. IAT is intake air tempurature curcuit, for egr take off and clean carbon build up from inside of engine to egr valve.
