Have you tried taking off the cover to see if the indicator cover is part of the entire wing mirror cover. I think it might all be part of the same cover. The Haynes manual may be able to help more.

My ml 270 year 2001 wing mirror indicator got smashed but now I dont have front or rear indicators on the jeep, need to fix unfilled I can replace the complete wing morror with the indicator in it.

When mirror got smashed it may have shorted the wiring. Insure wiring is not shorted and tape loose ends. Then check fuse and you may restore other signals.

My Audi A4 B8 left hand wing mirror direction indicator does not work. I believe it to be a loose connection in the unit or the LED is broken and needs replacing. How do i get the mirror apart to rectify...

Could be the glass. Be careful, if you break the mirror tabs when removing you will need to replace the glass and motor if available seperatley or it's a whole mirror

Honda civic wing mirror indicator replacement

Do you mean the turn indicator located in the mirror assembly? There is no way to replace that other than to replace the entire mirror assembly. I would be checking the wiring harness to the door before replacing the mirror. There could be a broken wire in the umbilical that goes between the body and the door.

Wing mirror indicator not working

I changed mine a few years ago (2005 Sharan). Price of the LED part was ~£20 from the main dealer. Biggest problem was taking the mirror unit apart. I spent ages removing the mirror then seperating the parts. Later some ne'r-do-well knocked into the mirror on a bike, folding it towards the front of the car, and it all just came apart in such a way as to make changing the indicator easy!

VW indicator unit on wing mirror

Ok very carefully pull off the mirrior blade. The mirrior blade is clipped but EXTEMELY fragile and will break if forced. From there remove the 2 heated blade wires. The cover is also clipped as you will notice after that is removed. You have to pry with a plastic tip between the cover and hosing near the body of the car while pulling the clips in the housing you see to lift the cover straight up. Once this is done you'll need a t-10 torx screwdriver to remove the lower portion. These screws are when you're looking straight down. With this assembly off you can access the 2 other little screws holding the flasher to the bottom cover. Remove the wires and the little clip and there you go. Installation is reverse.
