04 colorado idle problem

I have a 2004 Colorado with the 2.8, 4cyl., at around 50k miles the idle started to fluctuate wildly when the clutch was depresed coming to a stop. It's only gotten worse since. I've had it checked at the dealer to no avail.

I am having the same problem with my 04 inline 5, and it seems to be getting worse I have not taken mine in yet. I wanted to find out some info about this problem first, I have never had any work on the fuel system could this be part of the problem? I only have 32k on mine?

You need to clean the Throttle Body. It is very imporatnat that you follow te instructions to the letter.
Go to http://www.coloradofans.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=54407 and they explain everything on how to do it. It is NOT easy.

There is a recall for valve problems. The warranty for this problem has been extended to 100,000 miles for that. Check with your dealer to see if that is the problem. If no help contact GM.
