Gas running in throttle body while not running it's flooding engine and cylinders and coming out of exshaust

didnt specify vehicle --generic answer --need to check throttle body and throttle body valve and fuel pressure regulator for damage dirt or stuck open ---fuel pumps at around 50 + psi so if regulator or throttle body is not closing off residual pressure will push fuel through

No gas coming out of the carb

on cool motor, remove fuel line to throttle body, turn switch to accessory position fuel should flow freely. no flow check filter located on frame rail. or defective fuel pump. pressure should be(if checked with good guage)45-55 psi. if all checks out throttle body jet clogged with gunk or you have broken-damaged throttle body wires. all of this i have found on 2.8 liter engines.-------jawstech goodluck hope this helps.

Engine vibrates in idle real bad

sound like idle speed low idle you need to remove throttle body clean entire throttle body spray cleaner down throttle body bore if cleaning throttle body dont help the dealership has to check it out.a faulty egr valve could be stuck partially open that will cause rough idle and stalling. replace air filter clean fuel injectors.your fuel system could be too lean caused by clogged fuel injectors or weak fuel pump check fuel pressure and also check all intake vacuum hoses make sure pcv valve working should have suction and make sure its in place and the pcv valve hose not cracked open or damaged.

Car repairs I just replaced my fuel pump in my truck but dont seem to b getting fuel to throttle body still wont start i have checked my relay and can here fuel pump come on

If youare looking for fuel at the throttle body, you will not find any unless there is something TERRIBLY WRONG with your truck. Depending on which engine you have (there are 3 possible engines for the 1996 model year) your truck is equipped with Multiport Fuel Injection (MFI) or Sequential Multiport Fuel Injection (SMFI)
You need to test the fuel pressure by connecting a fuel pressure gauge to the service port on the fuel rail. If the pump is running, there is no need to mess with the relay because it is obviously working. If the pressure is OK, then there is no problem with your fuel delivery system. The next thing to check is the fuel injection system. Also, have you checked to see if you have spark at the spark plugs? It could be that your truck is not starting because of ignition system problems.

I have an 89 s-10 Blazer with a 2.8L and it wont start unless i pour fuel down the tbi. i have replaced the fuel filter and i can hear the fuel pump when the key is off and when if is on when i hook up...

The regulator is built into the throttle body. Recommend you crack loose the fuel inlet nut on the throttle body to see if fuel is getting there. If yes, the next question would be, are the injector solenoids clicking? If you can, put a long screwdriver on the solenoid and hold it to your ear while someone cranks the engine. If it's clicking, rebuild the throttle body. If not, use a meter or scope to check the signal to the injector. If there is a signal, replace the injector. If no signal, suspect ECM or one of it's input sensors. These sensors would normally set the engine light if the ECM is not getting a useful signal from them. If you have more questions, please let me know.

Will 87 s15 2.8l throttle body sorta run if fuel pump bad? changed fuel filter it was totally cloged. fuel ran out line with filter off- key on. engine will run a little. dont wanna waste time and money on...

If the punp is bad it won't run at all. Check the throttle body injectors to see if fuel is coming out of both injectors. Sounds like one of the injectors is not working. If one is not working you can check to see if it is the injector or wiring by switching injector wires and see if the problem changed from one injector to the other.

My plymoth neon shuts off when i stop at lights for a long time or a short time but it starts right back up what is it i was going to replace the fuel pump but i dont want to if that is not the problem

I dont think it would be the fuel pump, or else no fuel would to delivered to the engine.
i would try cleaning the throttle body first, as dirty throttle body's can cause rough idling and stalling while stopped or slow speeds.

5 speed. When I push the clutch in to glid the car will die.

I would start with a tune up. ( plugs , wires fuel filter)
Then if this does not work , I would have the fuel pump check and the Idle air control checked.
IF there is a check engine light coming on , The throttle position sensor is most likely the cause
of failure . The throttle position sensor is part of the throttle body .
The throttle body is a very expensive repair.
Some time you can get away with a good cleaning of the throttle body.
