Need keyless entry code for ford five hundred i looked under the dash for small black box did not fine it,

Under the steering column, there is a black fuse box you will need to undo the 3 screws that hold the fuse box up. It is easier if you undo the bottom dash trim under the steering column. Once you have undone the screws on the fuse box (leave the wires attached) pull the fuse box down and on the top side there is a sticker with your factory keycode. You will need a flashlight and possible a mirror, I was able to pull mine down far enough to get my head up inside the steering column to read the numbers. Remember if using a mirror the numbers are backwards to the way you are reading them. Good luck Better than paying the dealership $80.00

1986 volkswagen windshield wipers will not turn off?

look for signs of a windshield leaking water into fuse/relay box- located near pedals under dash. Also remove small plastic trim below steering wheel ( 2 screws) and unplug black connector with 6 or 8 wires directly under steering column. Turn key on if wipers are stopped then your switch is bad- steering wheel must be removed to change switch.

The car sat for 6 months before i bought it (prev owner passed way) & now the left indicator light doesnt work and the right is intermittant. do i need to replace the whole arm off the steering colum?

It's probably not in the control arm.Try replacing your turn signal relay (about $30 from parts store) This relay should be located under the dash and near the steering column (looks like a big black fuse). Talk to your parts guy when you buy the relay...he may be able to help you locate it.
The relay should fix your problem.

Where can I find a fuse box diagram for my 1985 grand marquis. my blinkers stopped flashing. they work but do not flash

Your fuse box should have a big round thing plugged into it called a flasher. Little bigger than a quarter. Simply unplug it and replace it

Wiring Assembly for Wiper Blades

This happened to mine. There is a black box under your dash that controls your wipers have you replaced that first? I tore down my steering column replaced the wiring swirch andall it was is that black box under my dash... If it is the wiring switsh you have to get a sterring wheel puller it makes it easy. Take it all apart you will see the wirer running from the wiper switch down to the dash unplug them on both sides and pull it thru your steering column. get a new one or go to junk yard much cheaper than 80 dollars at advance auto. And put it back together the way you took it apart. There are lots of screws so dont loose them.. Hopeful this will help you but like i said check that black box under your dash first it is a easy fix if thats your problem.
