Question about 1995 Ford Ranger Supercab
Unfortunately this model has separate filaments for the stop and turn signals. You will need to use an adapter relay to hookup a standard trailer plug or you will need a trailer that also uses this wiring setup. The first diagram below indicates there my be a trailer adapter for the turn signals at the base of the steering column. The wire colors at the bulbs are as follows:
tail/running lights: brown
stop: light green
left turn: light green/white stripe
right turn: white/light blue stripe
back up: black/pink stripe
Please let me know if you have questions.

This is the europeon wiring diagram for wiring up a trailor its a simple enough job to do and if this vehicle uses seperate back lights which conform to europeon regulations and the lights you are using use yellow indicators which is the correct way instead of confusing flashing stop lights which are totally illegal in europe then this diagram will have you sorted in an hour or so ,i always tie little knots in my wires to denote whats what or labels as iam colour blind but if your fitting a towbar then be carefull of the law as you will have to have it fitted by an authorised workshop with a tax number and the electrics can only be done by a qualified autoelectrician then vehicle has to be taken for another vehicle inspection in the testing station where the certificate of homoglonation for the towbar has to be presented and the certificate checked and the reciept for the fitting then the vehicle has a full mechanical inspection and the tow bar is added to the vehicles paperwork to prove its been fitted in accordance with europeon specifications ,failure to comply will result with vehicle being impounded and the towbar removed by a garage and a big fine and possible loss of driving licence .But its not difficult to wire one up and make sure the earth connection pin has at least three earths ,one to the socket mounting or towbar and another to the earth point on the vehicle chassis where the lights earth back to ground ,sorry two points not three although on a commercial vehicle i always earth back direct to the battery in case dangerous loads like flour or sugar are carried but this is a commercial application for trucks not a pick up utillity vehicle .If you do any certificates signed by a technical engineer then i will spoof some up and post them if required
