Question about 2005 Chevrolet Malibu

My 2005 chevy malibu

My cd player took a cd and would not give it back, so my son came down and disconnected the battery and reconnected it so that it would self eject. The terminals were reconnected correctly and everything was ok. Now the car will not start and the lock switches keep going crazy and a yellow car with a lock on it keeps flashing on the dash board.I can not find my owners manual and do not know how to fix this. Please help.

The security system has been triggered, consult the owners manual to reset it.

You will need to have the radio reset or checked out at the dealer.Ther could be a cd stuck in it.Or the radio/CD player may have be on when the battery power got to low.

My cd disc player won't eject the discs.. I have a 2005 chevy malilbu

Try this, turn the radio off and disconnect the battery for 1 min, after the battery has been reconnected, turn the radio back on and eject the CD and reset the station and clock. Make sure the radio is off when battery has been disconnected or your going to be prompted to enter a radio code to activate the radio. Good luck and keep me posted.

2004 MALIBU CD CHANGER/ STUCK CD

My CD player did the same thing on my 2005 Chevy Malibu MAXX LS.  I know it sounds weird, but disconnect the car battery from the car (resetting the whole car system), and then reconnect.  I pressed the eject button on the console, and it ejected my CD with no problem.

CD player will not read or eject CD

have you tryed more than the one CD?

If not do so..... if it works then it is the CD.

If you have, then your cd player has went bad, you need to replace it.

I have a cd stuck

Disconnect the negative side of your battery for about 2 to 5 minutes and then hook it back up and the player will automatically eject the CD
