We changed the water pump on 1996 chevy cavalier, the thermostat was good. Then we drove it about 15 miles and it overheated .The problem then was that we forgot to bleed the system. We had it bled and was...

It could be a head gasket. To test, have or do a chemical test for exhaust gases in the coolant. It's an easy test, and I have heard that autozone will rent you the tester. All you have to do is buy the test fluid, hook the tester to the radiator cap opening, car running at normal temp., and watch the test fluid container to see if it changes color, verifying exhaust gas in your coolant.
You could also have a shop do a leak-down test and check for a head gasket failure that way.

How often should you change coolant in 2001 Chevy Cavalier? Should you only use Dex-Cool? My Car has 105,000 Miles on it now. I changed the coolant (Dex-Cool) about 2 or 3 years ago? Also my Check Gages...

Sounds like air in system, repair any leaks flush and add universal antifreeze, and to get air out without special equipment, fill best as possible, start engine drive around block. Let vehicle set until cold. Then check coolant level again, repeat until guage stays normal

I have a 91 chevy cavalier it runs until it gets warm then starts to shake and sputter then it stalls wont start again for couple hrs what it wrong with it

This sounds like a bad control module, this is an ignition control module and it sounds like when it heats up it goes bad until it cools down, if you remove it ,there are many auto part stores that will test it for you, but make sure its tested a few times so it heats up good,

Vibration when in gear, and stalling.

The problem is the torque converter solenoid. I had it happen on my 94 Cavalier a few years back and was a cheap fix at the local car mechanic. What happens is the transmission warms up and hits a certain speed where the solenoid engages, but then it sticks and won't disengage until it cools down sufficiently. When it sticks, it causes the car to shake when slowing down and will snub out the engine if you come to a stop.

Pulsates when starts then shuts down after warmed up

Check all of your connections at the coil pack. Ensure that the coil packs do not have any corrosion under them were they connect into the base module or any of the connections, even plug wires. I had this same problem with my 2.2 in a 99' s-10. Pulled the coil apart, cleaned it up and and put di-electric grease on it, all better.
