If u cant find the fuse on side panel of dash board their should be more fuses tucked under the dash board near where the brake pedal goes in

I have a 98 Tahoe and the rear window won't roll up after I just put it down took the door apart but I can hear a click every time I push the button from the motor could it be jamed or a bad motor

Might be a blown fuse. Check your owner's manual to locate the fuse box and then locate the fuse for the windows. The rear window might be on it's own fuse. Replace the fuse if blown with a fuse of the same rating.

May not be the motor but water may have corroded parts so that they are stuck. I had this problem on an Audi some years ago.

Rear defoger not working

Check the fuse it should be labeled in the fuse panel as rear def. If its blown replace it and if that doesnt fix it or if the fuse blows again then u have an electrical problem and will need to have a technician look at it.

Rear windows of audi a6 only work from the front switches is there a fuse

If the window fuse was blown none of them would work. You have a switch problem - either the two rear door switches both failed, or you have broken wiring going to the window motors from the rear switches. It's also possible (if the door panels were removed) that the rear switch harnesses are not plugged in.

My 2003 montanas door locks on the switch quit working and the switch overhead for the rear power windows quit working . Any ideas???

it sounds like it might have blown a fuse, check your fuses and relays, under the hood, normally in a black box located on the drivers side, sometimes fuse box's are also under the instrument panel , down towards the floor, left of brake pedal.

Hi Guys,my problem is the rear window isnot operating-isthere a fuse somewhere Cheers terry

Probably a bad motor unless the assembly is missing, the window fuse is actually above the fuse panel by the pedals, so above that left kick panel. It is a 40 and it is pink.

Windows will not go up or down

Sounds like a fuse. Check the owner's manual to find out where your fuse boxes are. It will even tell you where the fuse is in the box for the power windows. Check the fuse and replace if blown. If you do not have a blown fuse, take to a mobile electrician to troubleshoot.

P.S. Dodge's, Jeeps, and Chryslers are known for making the wires too short, causing the wires to stretch and snap. Have an auto electrician check the wiring if it is suspected of fault.

Both electric rear windows do not operate

Hi,

Thanks for using FixYa!

If the rear power windows don't work. Its possible that you have a blown fuse for the rear side windows. Open up the fusebox usually located under the dashboard. Check the fusebox manual. Locate the fuse for the rear power windows. check if the fuse is blown. Replace the fuse. im 98% sure that its just a blown fuse.

Have a wonderful day.

Cannot get the rear driver window to roll down

no there is no fuse for just that rear window they all share a common fuse..if it will not work from drivers master switch or the rear switch on the dor then you will need to remove the door panel and test the elcetrical connector at the window motor.. just remember to have the rear switch plugged in when checking for power and ground at the window motor connector..
