I went to autozone they said I needed egr valve according to the code, so I bought one, have not found someone to install yet, but now vehicle wont start..is this same problem?

Not likely......no-start can be a LOT of things.First check fuel pump reset button. Check if you're getting spark, because with fuel and spark,it should run.don-ohio

Check your main relay. It powers the fuel pump and the ignition system. They are a known problem, with a high failure rate, on the 90-93 accords. I do believe it's worth checking.

I'll be honest, it sounds like the transmitter in the key isnt reading. A key remake without the factory transmitter will start the car, but only keep it running for a few seconds before cutting power to the motor. your electronics will still run....This may be too obvious, but honestly, thats what it sounds like.

Bad EGR valve comes to mind here. Assuming the plugs are good, the EGR valve woiuld be what I'd look at.
