Front blower switch only blows on high. How do i take apart dash to replace switch if thats what the problem is

Usually the blower motor switch is ok. The problem is more likely to be the blower motor speed resistor block which is the device which regulates how much power the switch sends to the blower motor to control it's speed. I believe that on your vehicle it located in the engine compartment at the right [passenger] side of the firewall and has a 4 or 5 wire connector plugged into it. It's a pretty common and inexpensive part so it should be readily available at most parts stores. Good luck, hope this helps!

My 2001 Voyager blower fan only runs on high.

This is 100% the Blower (Fan) Motor Resistor located near the Blower Motor.
This is a very common problem with Chyrsler, Dodge, Plymouth. The key symptom is the Fan only working on High.
This is very easy to access and replace.

Let me know if this helped....

HEATER FAN CONTROL DOWN TO 2 SPEEDS

The control is not the problem. Your blower motor resistor is burnt out on two fan speeds.
This is a high failure rate item that the factory has redesigned at least twice for this concern.

I have a 1999 Jeep Wrangler and the heater fan stopped working for all the fan speeds. The fuses are fine. How do you know if it is the blower resistor or the blower motor?

If you bypass the resistor pack and connect the motor directly to the fused 12v supply then the fan should run at maximum speed. If so, it's the resistor pack that's blown: a very common fault on a huge number of makes and models.

Location of low speeds heater fan fuse & switch. I do not have a owners manual.

the switch is on the dash with the other a/c controls. does the fan work at all? high speed OK? but the lower speeds dont work? if any speeds other than high dont work, replace the blower resistor.

Heater fan only works on high speed

usually when the blower motor gets old its starts to draw more current to run. which can pop fuses, burn out resistors and melt wires. also when you go to replace the resistor check the connector for signs of melting or burning you may end up having to replace that conector

Does not blow when heater is on? blower motor

First check fuse panel for burned fuse, if all o.k., Take a look up under passenger side dash, it's usually a common spot. When you find it, locate wires going into it & probe with 12vdc test light for power with key on & fan in run position. If light comes on by probing one of the wires, your fan motor is shot, if nothing at either wire, start back tracking for relay & switch malfunction.

Blower motor only works on high

This is a pretty common complaint and is almost certainly due to a failed heater fan resistor.
This is a stepped resistor with taps that set the different speeds on your blower and if any part of it goes bad, the whole thing doesn't work any more and the highest speed is the only one that bypasses this part.
These are often mounted on the fire wall but may not be exposed so you really need a service manual (Haynes or Chilton will do) to locate it in your car.
