Help!!! I cant seem to find a repair manual for my 1999 Kia Sportage, my heater stoped working and I need to replace the blower motor and wanted to get a manual first but cant find one.... any ideas where I could get one at?

I just purchaced a 2000 Sportage and am having the same problem. I did find that Autozone.com has a free online manual that you can view and print sections from. I would rather have a book at my side when I repair my car, but until somebody comes up with one we are stuck with the online services.

I think that my motor blower went out in my Kia. I'm getting the heat but it's not blowing it out. I can't do this myself cause I'm a lady who can't fix cars. I need to know about what the cost would be to have it repaired?
The blower motor is located under the dash on the passenger side. The blower motor stopped working on my 99 Sportage and I was able to get it working by disconnecting the plug and cleaning the terminals with a wire brush. I have not had any problems with the blower since. Concerning the repair manual, the only available in print are only available through Kia directly and I believe they costs around 100 dollars when I checked. I was able to purchase a copy of Mitchell service and maintenance manual off of ebay a few years ago for about 30 dollars. It is not as good as a book manual, but it does have all of the wiring diagrams and some troubleshooting tables.

scrbuddy1949 We had the same problem. Can't even get an owners manual-except one day noticed a friends neighbor drove a Sportage-same year and let us borrow their manual. We get advice from dealer over the phone as we are 70 miles away. But we love our Sportage in spite of it. Any ideas other than borrowing from someone else?
