Cigrate lighter and radio is not working, i hadaspark from cigrate lighter when used bad charger for i phone

Check these two fuses. Fuse number 31 in fuse box location 4, if cigarette lighter, radio and clock. Else fuse number 5 in fuse box location 2, if only radio and clock and not cigarette lighter.

Yes, you can buy a fuse an auto parts store, gas stations,etc. Here are where the fuseboxes are-- The main one is in under the hood behind the battery. There is another, smaller fuse box under the dash, near the emergency brake. Locate which one is the cig lighter fuse by using the legend. There should be a fuse puller tool in the fusebox. Remove, take with you and purchase the matching one and replace.

how about checking the fuse and wiring to lighter

Your charger, if it is a cell phone charger, has a fuse in it also.

Sounds like you blew the radio fuse,replace the fuse and see if it works,phone chargers that are bad have been knon to short out the fuse.

its a fuse...a car doesnt have breakers..and your radio and cig lighter are on the same fuse link sometimes...check it..wont hurt either way

You can pull the fuses one at a time and look at them.You will know the bad fuse when you see it.

i was trying to replace my radio to mp3 cd player. how ever afer i replaced radio there was power to radio how ever no sounds. now there is no power to radio at all, incluse cigrate laighter light off. please help
