When the key is turnned on do you hear the fuel pump run? if not find the ground wire or wires coming off the fuel pump they are bolted to the frame with a wire brush and or sand paper clean the frame and the wire eyelet for the ground and try restarting it If I'm not mistaken the fuel pump is in the gas tank and you should replace the sending unit as well as the fuel pump... Then check to make sure your getting fuel to your engine... If you are then it has to be spark/fire...lack of that is...Good Luck

They are very bad about coming disconnected when reinstalling them check connection and if good you can hook a jumper wire from positive side of battery to short red wire on driverside above front will next to fender and see if it cuts on or not if not then the pump is bad

We have a 1991 gmc jimmy we want to know what would cause the fuel enjectors to not fire on cold start. but we prime the motor with a little gas the motor will start and the injector will start spraying...

It sounds like an air lock or a fuel pump issue. firstly get the filter changed and bled through this might help. if the problem persists check the pump.

My 95 gmc jimmy will turn over but won't start.

Are you getting fuel and check for spark and if all is well, then move to your fuel pump and if checks out okay , ignition module and pick up module and coil have checked out .

Hi, back again. Changed the fuel filter and a new

No fuel pump reset switch on a Jimmy. If your pressure goes up to normal, then drops back down after 2 seconds, you need a new fuel pump as the return is not working correctly to keep fuel in the lines.
