I don't know of any procedures written up out there that will guide you through an entire engine swap. What you could do though is to subscribe for your car at ($25/year). It's an online service manual/troubleshooting guide, comparable to what the dealerships use, and using its information, I'm sure you could either find a mostly-complete tutorial, or at least piece it together using procedures for removing axles, transmission/differential, cooling system, and replacing the engine bay harness - a cluster of such procedures would piece the process together.

How do I turn off the "maintenance needed" light on my dashboard?

This procedure is suppose to be done buy a service tech that has changed you engine's oil. If they have forgotten and you want to reset the light, then it is acceptable. The procedure is easy. Step one:(with the key out of the ignition) gently press and hold in the mileage reset button. Step two: (Still holding the button in) slide the ignition key into the ignition and turn the key to the run position (do not start the engine) Step: wait 10seconds and you will see the "Maintenance Light" go out. Now let the button go. Step five: turn the ignition key back to off and the Maintenance Needed light is now reset. I hope that helps, let me know, good luck.

I have a 2003 pt crusier and i have a #4 engine missfire. i changed the plugs, wires, and coil, and the check engine light is still on. also the engine idle stayies high when you shift gears. please h

First Check for vacuum leak. My next step would be cleaning the I.A.C. ( idle air control ) Its common to find it clogged up with carbon. Also a bad mass air flow could cause it. ( easy solution to mass air flow, you can do the relearn procedure to see if solves it)

What's the steps if changing water pump for a

I suggest getting the Haynes service manual for this vehicle. The number of steps needed to do this job are too numerous to list in the space available. If your engine is the 2.4L four cylindar, it is the same procedure used to change the timing belt. If you are going into the water pump on this engine, you may as well change the belt and tensioner pulley. If you do not have a well equipped garage, I would not attempt this job.

If you meant the Timing Belt, Then i would advice you to get a Haynes Manual and see the step by step on how to change the belt procedure because its not an easy job and any mistake your engine will be Ruined . Good luck

I have to change my both timing belts on my 308 gtb quatrovalve 1983 ferrari. i live in trinidad, and there are no ferrari mechanics here. is there a step by step procedure for this..

The factory manual has directions, some of it is overkill, but this procedure is an engine out service and requires more shop equipment than most people have, A shop with reasonable equipment can complete the procedure but, one notch off and your engine will be no better than a boat anchor.

Need step by step directions to change timing belt 1994 lexus es 300 v6 3000 4 cam 24 vaulve

it will take an hour to type the step by step of this procedure, your better off getting a repair manual. there are a lot of steps to this procedure and if done incorrectly you could damage your engine. you should consider letting an experienced tech handle this.
