Have a 2003 navigator, my youch screen on my radio/ navigation etc went dark, the screen completely still work's but cant see anything...any suggestions?

Have you tried to pull the battery for 15 mins and reset the whole car? You'll need the security code for the deck after connecting the battery. It's usually in the owner's manual...

Are you check fuses? and harnesses connections.

Without knowing too much about this particular unit, I'll make one suggestion. When it does work, see if you can find a reset option in your setup options.

William, thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You need to check your wiring in the dash more then likely. Check all your fuses first, well, the appropriate ones for the navagation screen and ac/radio just in case. Something may have blew them. But more then likely, you have an issue with a bad wire in the dash that is associated with all three.

Hi! If your truck has navigation radio ( with option code UZR), I'm afraid your radio needs to be programmed to the latest calibration. The scratches and blemishes on various media discs usually causes this condition. The latest calibration has a certain program to address this issue. If you cant get a code by morning call the ford dealer and ask the service department they will tell you exactly how to do it.

Why did you replace the lighter fuse in the first place - something may have shorted something out? when you put in the new fuse does it blow right away? make sure the fuse is the correct amp for that spot. also check all the fuses - sometimes there can be more than one fuse that controls many items such as radio, nav, and lights.to answer your questions though no it cant really be anything else than a short blowing a fuse. you just have to find which fuse it is and where the short could be.

Had the same problem with my '03 330xi. Navigation worked fine but radio and CD did not work at all. I opened the fuse box located in the glove compartment to check the three fuses associated with the navigation system and radio. #7, #39, and #41. All three fuses were intact so I put them back in. I then put the key into the ignition, turned it to position 2 and miraculously the radio came to life. I guess it acted as some type of reset?
