1999 astro van heat

My heat in the van only trickles out. It has been like this for a couple of years so far just progressively has gotten worse. It started to blow out less and less. Now nothing comes out of it unless we are driving. If you have an solution for this problem I would appreciate finding out how to fix this since I has 3 small children and winter is coming soon.

If you do not hear the fan blower turn on when you turn the blower seting to low med or high then it is probably the resistors that control the fan speed that need replacing.

1999 Chevy Astro Van. Don't know exact model # of

You should have a 4l60E in your astro van. Which is electrically controlled, so no vacuum modulator. However, to address the ventilation selector not working... look for a vacuum line exiting the firewall and going to the passenger rear of the intake manifold. You will likely find it broken or disconnected there.

1999 Astro chevy van oil gauge goes between 30 - 60 when i am driving 30 when i slow down and 60 when i sped up.

NORMAL JUMP AS THE ENGINE RPM INCREASES THE OIL PRESSURE GOES UP VERY FAST. I HAVE THE VAN, MY DOES THE SAME THING, U CAN TRY REPLACING THE OIL PRESSURE SENDER, BUT ONLY USE THE GM ORIG PART, AFTERMARKET ONES MAKE THE FLUCUATION WORSE..

No heat

As for the fan your blower resistor is in need of replacement.
To address the heat problem I'll need to know a couple of things
1. Does your vans temp gauge read in the normal range or is it running low(after you've driven it for at least 10 min
2. Is the out side temp really cold?
