At 122000 mls on turbo estate the clutch bites almost as soon as you depress the pedal and paranoia aids detection of occasional slipping! Sadly only able to do simple repairs now, would like to know how many hours work a competent garage should charge for fitting a complete new clutch? Is there anything else I should ask them to change/check at the same time? Gearbox oil? Thanks.
I would get three qoutes from the clutch specialist in your area. Labour charges vary from area to area. If I was to give you a rough idea of the labour time and price, I could be out by a fair margin. I think this is your best option. Also the garage that do the repair should top up your gearbox oil as a matter of course. It will not hurt to ask through.

Hello, Well its starts off a few months ago when i took out my factory stereo, when I did this i had zero experience in the world of wiring, so i cut off the plug, leaving nothing but exposed wires hanging out of my dash, and now I want to hook up this new stereo that I've gotten for Christmas, one problem though, i don't know which wire does what! So if you would please like to lighten up my world a little, and send me the link to a stereo diagram for a 1993 Ford Tempo Gl that I could either Print or look off of would be fantastic! this would be greatly appreciated hence its the only thing keeping me from hooking up my rad new system! Thanks!
