HI meekeyez,
'cruiser smelling of exhaust smoke' most cruisers that have age on them will have worn hindges and nolonger seal the rear doors and allow the exhaust smoke at the rear to seap in as the vehicle travels along due to the vortex affect that recoiles behind the vehicle check the rear cargo door seals and replace or adjust if needed as for your smoke problem i need more imfo is it blue smoke or black smoke is your cruiser petrol or desiel powered.
kind regards ****.

I would really like to get a Landcruiser. I've heard they are really good cars. My friend owns one and he says it is one of the most reliable cars he has owned. http://gibsonconstruction.com/#aboutus

On the surface, it sounds like you've got a frozen brake caliper. Apart from smoke and a burning smell, you would notice the truck pulling to 1 side or another. Another symptom of a frozen caliper is decreased performance and mileage.
