2000 Hyundai Elantra driver's power window will not raise

The motor is spinning but the window will not roll up. Where can I find a diagram of the door panel to troubleshoot?

Can you tell me how to fix the window regulator? I was hoping to find some type of diagram to follow.

Saturday my driver's side window wouldn't raise. Motor worked, but window stayed down. I took off the interior door panel and had no idea what to do next since a round piece of plastic fell out when I removed the panel. I couldn't determine where it came from. I took it to a garage (not the dealer) who told me the regulator was bad and that it is a "dealer only" part. I had them raise the window, and I've taped over the controls so I don't accidentally put the window down. Don't want to spend the money they want to fix it- so I guess I'll just have to do without fresh air for now.

Don't know why but the glue gets weak where the plastic pieces attach to the bottom of the window.i've had to fix mine more than once.remove the door panel, then take the nuts lose from the back of the plastic retainers,then-going by the residue left from the old glue mark where the retainers go back-re glue, realine and reinstall.panel removal-philips screw holding the door handle,1 philips screw holding armrest/window controls, two philips screws at front of panel above speaker, then gently pry clips behind the edges of the panel.if the plastic window retainers are beyond repair,i think they have them in the help section of advance/autozone.

2009 Elantra passenger power window rolls down but not up

Didn't need to replace the motor

You could have put battery voltage
directly to it & run it in either direction
by switching your power & ground feeds

The problem is a switch not working

If you had a wiring diagram, you would know where
to test for the problem

Unplug the switch & test it,if you can figure it out

Back windows wont roll down

i first check to see if you have a master power control switch at the driver side switches. If so, is it set to block? Also try pressing on and off a few times( maybe bad /corroded contacts inside the switch} . try the switch at each window{replace as necessary} there will be CIRCUIT BREAKERS not fuses you can check, also maybe window relays ,BURNT wiring, bad main switch,{master window} the last thing i would check is the motors themselves, doubt they would both be burned out!!! 2000 elantra driver side front window will not go down

take your door cover off, give the window motor direct current(run 2 wires from your battery) to the harness prongs. switch the wires to prongs to make it go either up or down. If the window goes down you have a faulty window switch, if it does nothing, but get hot. you need to replace your window motor, some window motors come with new regulators too.
