Re: Ford Transit Van 2003
Check the wiring harness at the back doors. What was happening with these was, the wiring is inside an armoured sleeve, and should slide in and out of the door, as the door is opened and closed. After a while, the wiring becomes kinked, and no longer slides, but bends in half, breaking the wires inside the sleeve over a period of time.

You should be able to unscrew the antenna and slide it between the door and cab. If its too tight you can use a screw driver to gently pry the door open. Although this will depend on where your lock is located.

If the system can be programmed to not lock it will be in the owners manual. If you don't have one go hereand download one from Ford, it is free. I think it is a bad idea to disable this due to a family member being car jacked because the passenger's doors where unlocked.
this is such a lovely motor it would be a shame not let you in to the pleasure of music on the move in such a glorius vehicle with such a great history ,turn radio on and for the first number press the button 1 ,so say code is 2345 then you touch button 1 twice so 2 appears then button 2 three times then button 3 four times button 4 five times then press button 5 and it will work,Great history these motors i remember the first ones with a V4 2.0lt engine and they were so fast you outrun the local noddy cars with one ,get a early diesel perkins and take the lump out then mount a V6 zodiac engine and change the diff for a MK2 consul or zodiac and have a race with a rover V8 low line with a yellow stripe down the side and blue lights,
To program ( or reprogram ) a keyless entry remote transmitter into the remote keyless entry module, perform the following steps:
1. Turn the key to ON or ACC and short the two terminals of the program connector, a two-pin connector located below the driver's side of the instrument panel at the base of the steering column. All doors should lock and then unlock. 2. Press any button on each keyless entry remote transmitter in turn. All doors should lock and then unlock. If the door locks do not respond, press the button again (up to three times maximum with the same keyless entry remote transmitter). If the door locks still fail to respond, go to Pinpoint Test A. 3. Repeat Step 2 to program additional keyless entry remote transmitters into the remote keyless entry module (up to four keyless entry remote transmitters maximum). 4. Turn key off. 5. Remove the short from the program connector. All doors should lock and then unlock. 6. Verify that the keyless entry remote transmitters have been successfully programmed by pressing the LOCK or UNLOCK button on each one, and observing that the system responds by locking and/or unlocking the doors.
Hello.. Not 100% sure what you mean, but if your saying that when you use the keyfob, only the drivers door unlocks, try pressing unlock twice in quick succession. This should unlock all the doors. Hope this helps.
