Invest in a Haynes manual. It gives you far more information and tips than a hand book. I hope this is of some help to you.

Don't you mean it used to be in perfect condition, you have a big problem now, see the dealer for diagnosis and testing with specialized equip.

I have a polo 1.9 tdi the gears on it is a bit


when a vw gearbox is shot it jumps out of gear or grinds badly or even whines out loud,so if you not getting any of the above,...... yes it is a notchy box (skoda make it)

the piston screws back. you can buy a tool at an auto parts place for a few dollars. it's a small cube shaped tool with various spaced nubs on each side for multiple vehicle use

I need to replace the rear brake pads on my Polo 1.9 TDi


this is a turn in caliper, meaning that as you try to compress the piston, you also need to rotate it clockwise. you can buy tool for this at nearly any parts store, and is fairly inexpensive.

Engine revs on its own! vw polo


There are many number of reasons for this problem...but a VERY common one is a faulty thermo sensor which controls air / fuel ratio.

Battery was dead. I jumped started the 05 vw

My vw passat tdi 05 radiator fan dose not come


check fuses..came across a bora with much same problem..it turned out to be a coolent tempreture switch the heater gauge wasn't working and on diagnostics it was reading -41degrees celcius the fan was not running because it thought it was freezing outside also blew the fuse of the fan also
