SOURCE: need to install a thermostat
follw the upper radiator hose to where it run to the engine more than likely there will be a diamond shaped tube with two bolts holding it to the motor. you will begin to loose coolant the theremostat will be in the hole in the engine or the tube you took loose with the upper hose on it. be sure to make sure you put the new thermostat in right side up look at old one put a scratch on it so you know up from down. you make want to put some gasket sealer on both sides of the new gasket. don't over tighten the nuts or they'll snap off in the block then you're up the creek without a paddle luck bye from sunny austin texas
