How to fix my 2000 toyota tundra brake prolem

You've heard this a thousand times. Have new brakes put on my toyota and a couple thousand miles later they began to chatter. I heard that a whole new brake system is the only solution.

Chatter is caused by brake pad vibration, they make a paste that you put on the back of the brake pads to reduce it or make it go away, another thing that causes it is the rotors were no finished properly when they were turned, another issue is poor quality brake pads, I have always used Wagner or Raybestos brand they are the best and have anti squeak/chatter materials in the pad material.

2000 toyota tundra,,, noise in front when turning right,

This could be most anything but you can check: Condition of the front brakes...overworn or a brake pad broken loose, a bad front bearing, out of alignment so tires are worn unevenly. a broken or cracked motor mount, a loose exhaust pipe hangar, and many more!

I recently put new front brake pads and had rotors turned on the front end of my 2003 tundra sr5,after a month of driving i'm getting the pulsation when braking back which is why i made this repai

HI if you have pulsation after a month you must replace the rotors
they are too thin and the heat is warping them faster then before you
had them turned
note you replace brake pads and rotors

good luck

I have a 2000 Toyota Tundra - front end shimmys at speeds over 55 mph or braking at high speeds - could it be front tires need to be rebalanced, or front end realigned?

new tyres needed would be more the cause as they do deform with the sun in hotter climes ,and no doubt they are twisted if you look carefully

Looking to buy a used 2000 tundra. Did Toyota ever recall or come up with a solution for the front break problem

For the 2000 model year there were several TSB ( technical service bulletins) issued concerning brakes on your vehicle. There were no recalls concerning brakes or brake failures however.
You can check the following web site and search information on the tundra recalls and TSB's for more detail.
Good luck.

Front brakes are sticking on and off on 2005 vibe, when the brakes stick brake pedal becomes hard??both sides start to heat up,calipers seizing?master cylinder problem?or????? I had the same problem with...

Vibes have had a number of problems, so this could be one of them. These brake systems are ultra-sensitive to contaminated brake fluid - make absolutely sure they completely flushed the system and replaced the brake fluid when they replaced the master cylinder.
