Question about 2000 Toyota Tundra
You've heard this a thousand times. Have new brakes put on my toyota and a couple thousand miles later they began to chatter. I heard that a whole new brake system is the only solution.
Chatter is caused by brake pad vibration, they make a paste that you put on the back of the brake pads to reduce it or make it go away, another thing that causes it is the rotors were no finished properly when they were turned, another issue is poor quality brake pads, I have always used Wagner or Raybestos brand they are the best and have anti squeak/chatter materials in the pad material.
