Question about 1994 Chevrolet Camaro
I have a 1994 camaro 6 cly. 3.4L engine. The problem is it is having a severe power loss and as you press down the pedal the engine screams and the rpm gauge gets close to the red,,and the car barely accelerates.
I know it may be a number of things but was hoping someone came across this and can help me out.Can it be timing chain?Im just not sure.
Thank you :)
It could also be your torque converter i had a 1989 camaro that did the same thing yours is doing

It could be your timing belt is slipping or missing some cogs .
roughly 4.5 hrs on garage time / took me 4-5 hrs just to get the belt off / pile of work involved .change the timing belt every 60,000k or lol welcome to the car world where you will be nickeled and dimed to death ... happy new years
