Water in oil

Water in oil is usually caused by a cracked engine block. This is a serious problem which could have been caused by the water freezing inside the engine. Water freezing in the engine could be caused by insufficient anti-freeze in the water. Of course the other possible cause of finding water in the oil could be by a defect in the metal structure of the engine block. Either way....that indication usually points to a worthless engine.

1988 GMC oil and water

From what you are describing, I would say that the head gasket could be the cause. You have water and oil passages that run through the heads. If the gaskets have deteriorated, it will allow the oil and water to mix.

no, do you have the PATS system--Key has transponder inside? Are you using the factory key? Do you have an extra factory key? If yes, try it.

What kind of promble would I have with this van got it for 3000.00 been sitting for a little bit.

Depends on Sitting for a little bit time duration.

Issues are dry seals, then leaks, but most important is oil consumption... if no excessive oil usage, you can be good to go.

I have a 90 accord ex and it is leaking oil from some where and i don't know what to do i replaced the oil pan gasket and still am having the promble

Could be the cam seal (near the cam gear noticeable under the upper plastic timing cover). Or the back of the valve cover gasket, or the main seals (either on the flywheel, flex plate side, or the main pulley side). Could be an oil cooler hose near your oil filter or that the filter is not tight enough.
