Unless your vehicle is driven in what we call "severe" conditions (dusty roads/heavy towing, etc); stay with the reg maint schedule. No reason to do the optional unless you vehicle is really working hard.

Purchased focus sport 2006 model no service manual. Mileage 43,000 kms. Need to know service intervals either time/mileage perhaps a copy of the service schedule will suffice.

These maintenance intervals come from the maintenance interval calculator
at www.autozone.com, using a starting point of 25,800 miles (43000 km), and
assuming 1000 miles (1666 km) driven per month, and "severe driving conditions," which
are actually normal usage characteristics, such as frequent short trips, urban driving, waiting in traffic, driving in hot weather, trips under 16 km in cold weather, etc.

2005 honda ex maintanence required light went on

It's a reminder that it's time to do your maintanence(oil change, tire rotation, replace air fliter, etc..your service book will tell you what service your need to do base on the mileage). A lot of the time people just get a oil change and reset the light. The light can be reset at anytime.

With the headlight OFF push and hold the trip/reset button or stick (located in front of the gauge below the MPH speedo) , turn the ignition switch ON (II), and continue to hold the button for more than 40 seconds. If you did it right the light should go out.

good luck

I am wondering what is absolutely necessary in terms of maintenance on 2007 mdx at 60000 miles.

There is not much maintinace on these, the trany oil doesnt and should not be touched maybe at 100,000 miles, at 60,000, rotate tires, change oil, check and replace air filter if needed, change cabin filter, and the rest is checking fluids, brakes etc, theres not much the most necessary thing is the oil change and rotate tires, i know the dealer charges alot for nothing, youcan look in the manually in the rear it shows you the services, or just google the year make and model and maintinance required. and it will also show you, good luck hope this is helpful.

My ACURA TSX has 42,000 miles. The dealer says I need service to the tune of $550. I find this hard to believe. The car has no problems and I don't drive it rough. I would love some advice on this!...

Don't take it to them.

At only 42000 miles, there shouldn't be anything on the vehicle nearing that cost even to replace.

For service under a regularly scheduled maintenance, a tire rotation, new oil, spark plugs, brake cleaning, all fluids including the transmission, and even throw in all new exterior lighting...wouldn't cost nearly 550 dollars.

What is to much oil? 1 L every 8000km is normal, does it has blue smoke at first start of the day ?
What you mean with thump ? Either they are out of balance vibrated at certain speed !

What milaige maintance do i need to preform

Go to the autozone website at autozone.com and register your vehicle. It doesn't cost anything and you will have access to an online repair manual for your truck. I think they also have where they have the scheduled maint interval for the vehicle and can send email reminders when service is due. You might want to check it out. Hope this helped and best wishes.

I have a 2007 toyota matrix. I would like to know what kind of service is needed at 25,000 miles and what is the cost?? thanks

Do an oil change every 4 to 5000 miles. Check air filter and replace if necessary. Do tire rotation every 5000 miles especially if you have warranty on tires. The manual will list some other stuff but I would only be concern with the above. 25,000 miles is not a lot of mileage. Probably looking at $40. Please ask any other concerns.
