Question about Jeep Grand Cherokee

1 Answer

The auto start is going crazy. It keeps starting the jeep. I keep using the remote to turn it off. I don't keep the remote on my keychain. It's in the junk drawer. Finally disconnected the batter.

Guages when crazy. Now won't even try to start.

You likely have it repaired by now but it sounds like a classic case of oxidized battery or cable connection (sometimes mis-diagnosed as bad battery but cured with new (clean) battery)

Jeep alarm will not turn off

The ignition security on/off is located at the trunk lock. unlock and lock rear gate and the alarm will turn off. My jeep sat in my drive for a month before a jeep tech told me this. It still triggers the security sometimes when I unlock the passenger door with the key and I go straight to the rear gate lock and it shuts off instantly.
