Hi - Thanks for responding to my question earlier. I'm just wondering if you have replaced with Jasper engines before and if you do that, how long the cars have been able to keep driving (just on avg.). Thanks.

Hi..
Yes I have replaced Engine and Transmission. for a few car ,, From JASPER.
But I never had a Problem. And I gave the warranty to my Customer.

How long the cars are able to keep driving?.
Is almost inpossible to know.
But Depend of Good Maintenance. And use conditions..
Important, When you do OIL CHANGE. Don't do on Quick lube or Fast SERVICE.
Because all of them use a BULK RECICLED OIL.
I noted this OIL has a hight level of Consuption.

OK.. I hope this help.

Thank you..

How do i remove timing belt cover on 2000 toyota camry 4 cylinder 2.2 litre? i notice the securing bolts around the perimeter. do i access some of these from the wheel bay?

See here for info, p26 and 242.

http://www.turboninjas.com/camry/eg1.pdf

This is for an earlier year model, but is for the 2.2L engine.

You will have to remove the crank pulley, timing belt covers and timing belt, for best access. Unless it is fairly new, I would replace the belt wile you are at it.

Started motor problems on Toyota Camry 2000

You need a new starter bendix, or a whole starter. Best do it soon before you tear the teeth of the flex plate. Once you do that you have to pull the transmission to change it.

I have a 2000 Camry - 6 cylinder with about 180,000 miles on it. The Check engine light came on and it showed three codes - P0125, P1130 and P1135 - We put in a new thermostat - and still the check engine...

Was the computer reset after the thermostat was replaced?? If not, it must be reset to clear prior codes. as for the p1130/1135, they are related here is some info>>>>http://www.engine-light-help.com/toyota-engine-light.html

Your firing order is 1-3-4-2

You have learned a valuable lesson! Only do 1 wire at a time! Hey, I've messed this up several times, I didn't learn from it!

1 2 3 4 1
standing in front of 4 this is where the wires plug in to the coil pack, also viewed
vehicle, this is how 2standing in front of vehicle, facing engine
the cylinders are numbered. 3

Please rate this, thanks, good luck, let me know if you need further help.Curt

Plugs for Camry 2000 4 cyl.

The plugs that are supposed to be in a 2000 4 cyl Camry are :
PK20TR11 Toyota P/N 90919-01194

The K16TR11 plugs fit a variety of models.
They are found in the following units:

98/99 Corolla
95/97 Paseo
95/98 T-100 V-6
95-04 Tacoma V-6
00/04 Tundra V-6

There is no question that your dealer installed the wrong plugs.

I would really appreciate a FixYa rating for the information that I have provided you. Thnaks in advance.

1998 toyota camry V6

P0420 indicates you have a catalyst efficiency issue; replacement of the Air-Fuel Sensor should take care of that;
The P0441, P0446 and (I assume P0440); you said 446 twice, indicates a faulty or loose fuel cap; it is not sealing properly.
Please feel free to respond to me if you have any further questions.
A FixYa rating from you regarding my assistance would be greatly appreciated.
