Question about 2004 Honda Accord
The ac works on and off especially when trying to accelerate the ac cuts off for a few minutes then hot air comes out. Typically normal that the ac cuts off at acceleration but should resume as soon as driving back to cruising speed or at normal rpm. Any Ideas?
The accord has to radiator fans, if it blows hot air and then the ac comes back on. My accord did exact same thing. The solution was replacing one of the fan. Mine happen to be right fan, when facing the front of the car. hope this might help.

If your accord runs more than 100,000 Km. already and you always A/C every time. My suspect there is a clutch coil, when it get hot there is a change in resistance. Its better to replace the clutch and coil together.I hope this will help you

Even under acceleration you should have cold air from vents.Does the air change from the vents to defroster or elsewhere when accelerating? Make sure you have a full charge of refrigerent..Also make sure the engine isnt running hot...
