I have the same problem. It started fine and I backed up and it died. It would not start again. Had it towed to the mechanic and all they said it could be was a blown fuse to the fuel pump. After replacing the fuse from a 20a to a 30a it is still running but I am afraid to drive it anywhere.

    Any ideas.

sounds like theres a strip wire touching metal somewhere causing it to short out,try pitting a higher fuse but you still have to take it to a electromechanic so they can find where the short is coming from.

No ac nd my fan stop working completely

Fuses blow because of higher than normal amperage in the circuit. Not sure what circuit the blown fuse is for but if it is for the fan the fan may be shorted therefore blowing the fuse. If you put fuse in while the ac was still on try shutting off the ac then putting the fuse in. See if it blows then if it doesn't then turn the ac on and if it blows you have at the very least isolated the system at fault.

02 Escalade will not start

It will most likely be a poor earth issue, make sure the earth lead between the battery and the body is good and clean and check the one between the body and motor.
Poor earth connections cause excessive current draw and will blow fuses.

Hi, since the whole panel is dead, I would check the 40 amp HVAC BLOWER fuse under the hood. Please get back to me if either that isn't the problem or the fuse blows again.

I can not find the cruse control fuse for my 1988 crysler newyorker the book i bought for it want tell me were it is eaither

Usually your fuzes are either under the drivers side kick panel, up under the dash or under the hood, it may also be running in line with another circuit, if you have anything else that isn't working, you CC may be in line with that. Visually inspect all your fuzes by pulling them out one at a time to make suer their all good.

Call the consumer safety commision and make a formal complaint. It is a safety issue. Loss of steering control of vehicle at freeway speeds. If its a new car, everytime it locks up, have it towed to the dealer. Even if its in your driveway. They get three hits and it is deemed a lemon if not repaired. Buy another carwith your refund..
