Bad front wheel bearing on 1998 Hyundai Elantra

It seems to be that with the help of this forum, my car is diagnosed with bad right front wheel bearing....making a loud roaring noise.
Until i decide, what to do, I a need to drive this car in this condition, I do not drive it on the highway, just in the city with 50-60 km speed.
I would like to know if driving in this condition:
1)Would cause damage to other parts, so more parts would need to be replaced?
2)How long can I drive car in this condition?
3)How I would know to stop driving and go do a repair ?
3)Would the bearing eventually completely seize up or fall a part?
Thanks!

    Thanks for the info.
Even with windows closed I can hear a deep humming sound, starting around 40 km speed, which sounds like a tire noise, when you are driving on the road which is grinded down to be ready to paved.
I did not noticed any movement (clunk or loosenesss ) in tire, when I tried to wiggle it.
I guess, it is still in an early stage.

My 2003 Elantra sounds like it is running on mud tires it howls so bad. I was suspecting wheel bearings and based upon similar reports I guess I was right.

Ok so i have a 1998 1hyundai elantra and i was switching the front pessange wheel bearing but i cant get the old one out. The whole bearing isnt in the housing its just the outside edge, any ideas on how...

The wheel bearing on that one is pressed in. You will need to pull the knuckle and bring it to a machine shop or auto repair shop to have the old bearing pressed out and the new bearing pressed in.

I own a 99 hyundai elantra the car has a very bad grinding/vibration in the frontend the drive axeles were already replaced when i bought the car i checked the wheel bearings they seem to be fine so i...

You should check your wheel bearings again and check the front brakes and rotors. Pay close attention to the inner pads and the rotors. You can get a grinding vibration from hard spots in the rotors or the pads and these are often overlooked as a cause. Everyone goes to bearings or trans first, so it is not you everyone does it I've seen it happen for years. But pay close attention to the brakes, worn, hard spots or heat/burn marks all can cause this to happen.

Hyundai 1998 Elantra Growling sound from front

You have a worn right front wheel bearing - all your symptoms are classic signs of wheel bearing failure. You'll likely need a 6-8 ton shop press to replace it. Dropping your car off for the work and picking it up completed can run you $250-300, but many places will charge only $30 or so if you remove the spindle (which houses the bearing) and bring it to them, so they only have to press out the bearing and install the new one.
