Raise hood ...standing at drivers fender the row closest to the firewall...the relay closest to you is the horn relay..i would check the 20 amp fuse closest to the relay and see if it is blown. this same fuse powers the cigar lighter

Hi, What is the big metal box attached to the black relay box under the hood? I know that every time the headlights do not turn on I just adjust it and they turn on! It is frustrating for a single mom!!! Anyhow, I know the ground/conecction is not good I am not sure if can be fix or does it has to be replace? Thanks for your help.;-)

1998 dodge grand caravan fuse panel diagram

There is also a labeled HORN relay in the fuse box next to the battery... the fuse box is long and rectangular. The inside of the lid has the diagram for both the fuses and relays it contains. The other is a fuse panel under the dashboard on the driver's side. It cover lights and a few other items. The fuses are labeled, but the relays are NOT. One of the relays, controls the emergency hazard flashers. You need to check both places and replace any fuse that states HORN and the HORN relay, to be sure the problem goes away.

Cant find the horn relay on my 2002 ford van

Under the hood in the fuse box. The lid for it should have a diagram on the inside. It'll tell you which one is the horn relay

I just need to know which fuse controls my horn on my 2001 chevy silverado

  • You want to make sure to remove the connectors off the horn and test them for power when the horn is tested. You may need to remove the headlight and parking lights out to do this. The horns do go bad. If there is power but no horn honking then replace the horn. now you do have two horns. One for the alarm. But they both will blow when you hit the horn.
  • The fuse is in slot 29 and is a 15 Amp fuse and there is also have a horn relay in the panel box under the hood. I think it is the far bottom towards the middle. You can flip the lid of the panel over and there is a diagram there so you can confirm.

  • Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYA.

The horn in my 2003 chevy cavalier stopped working and i need to know why it stopped working and where the horn is located

It may be your horn fuse. It will be in one of your fuse boxes. Just follow your diagram on the fuse box lid.

Looking for horn fuse on toyota sienna 1998

Hello Edelways.
The horn fuse and the horn relay are in the left front under hood fuse/relay box.
This is a location diagram and the inside of the box. Sorry about the size of the diagrams. They don't allow us much space here. The fuse and relay should be marked in the fuse box lid.

I need to replace the horn fuse in my 1997 mercury mountaineer

In your owners manual go to the index and look for fuses then go to that page. Look for the horn fuse which should be in the fuse box under your hood around your engine, in your owners manual is should tell you where it's located. Find the fuse for it by looking at the diagram on your owners manual and then pull that fuse out. You should have replacement fuses in the fuse box that's in your car, you have to open the car door to get to it. If you don't have that fuse just take it up to auto zone and tell them you need a replacement for that fuse.
