Is there a fuel filter for each tank on a 1997 F350 crew cab 4x4 with a 460

There should be one filter per tank. If there is start with changing the fuel filter in the front tank and if you are still having problems then your front fuel pump seems like it may be going out.

I have a 2003 dodge dakota quad cab 4.7l v-8 4x4 with p0440pd and p0442pd for engine codes that are on can't find out what they are.

P0440-GENERAL EVAP SYSTEM FAILURE, Check your vacuum hoes by the cannister close to your fuel tank.
P0442: Evap leak monitor, Small Leak Detected, check/change your gas cap should fix that problem!
I hope this helps!
