Question about 1999 Volvo S80
There is nothing mechanically wrong with car...it's drives/handles fine. However, intermittently, the warning lights come on. We've seen check engine, brake failure, ABS/Brakes/STC, transmission. etc. When we stop to determine what's wrong...nothing. Car runs fine. Took it to a mechanic and it cost almost $2k for draining transmission & replacing fluid. This did NOT stop the problem. He then said he'd put in a new transmission...I don't think so...nothing wrong w/this one.
What can be causing the warnings to keep appearing intermittently????
The Brake, ABS and STC/DSTC lights go on intermitently for few seconds. The brake systems was checked and nothing wrong. The problem is on Volvo S80, year 2000, engine B5244S, the difference of initial report.
I don't know what happen and what to do for repair.
The actual switch for the warning senser might be buggered if your car runs a1
