Question about 1999 Volvo S80

At various times all the warning lights go on/off

There is nothing mechanically wrong with car...it's drives/handles fine. However, intermittently, the warning lights come on. We've seen check engine, brake failure, ABS/Brakes/STC, transmission. etc. When we stop to determine what's wrong...nothing. Car runs fine. Took it to a mechanic and it cost almost $2k for draining transmission & replacing fluid. This did NOT stop the problem. He then said he'd put in a new transmission...I don't think so...nothing wrong w/this one.
What can be causing the warnings to keep appearing intermittently????
The Brake, ABS and STC/DSTC lights go on intermitently for few seconds. The brake systems was checked and nothing wrong. The problem is on Volvo S80, year 2000, engine B5244S, the difference of initial report.
I don't know what happen and what to do for repair.

I don't know why the trouble on my car was mixed with the previous report; but, the problem on my car (Volvo S80, year 2000 engine B5244S, 2.4Liter) is the following: The emergency Brake, ABS and STC/DSTC lights go on, go off intermittently for few seconds. In the display the message "Averia en el Sistema de Frenos. Det?ngase de inmediato" appears. The Brake system was checked and nothing wrong was detected. The car was scanned and O2 Sensor and possible mal-function trouble with transmission was only detected. Can you let me know why the emergency lights go on?

Go to another mechanic. The light is on because there is an ABS problem. It is usually sensors and the error code will tell you which one.

Check the warning sensor adjustment as the eb system may be worn enough to set it off if the adjustment is too close.

01 passat, 02 sensor means? it drives fine except Always various different warning lights on.

Need to replace the Oxygen sensor on the exhaust. This is a maintenance issue, every modern car will eventually need this to be done. Not very difficult or technical, so not necessary to be ripped off by dealer, find a cheaper mechanic.
