Question about 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix
Puchase a jet performace stage II PCM chip.. i had the same problem.. installed the chip on my 95 grand prix se.. works perfect

First thing is to check to see if the "check engine light is on...if so, check for trouble codes, then address any codes that show up...if the "check engine light isn't on, then you should do a pressure test on your cooling system, to see if maybe you have a head gasket leaking, (most rad shops will do this for little or nothing $$$) If you haven't changed your fuel filter in a while you should do that anyway. If everything checks out so far than you should check your fuel pressure, with a pressure guage. You may also want to do a compression test if the above seems o.k.
